It was a lot closer than thought, but Ned Lamont came out on top Tuesday night in the Connecticut Democratic primary. Sore loserman that he is, Joe Lieberman has announced he's running as an "independent Democrat," turning this fall's election into a three way race.

I thought it was going to be a blowout for Lamont, but unless Lieberman's backers -- Big Pharma, Big Oil and the defence industry -- succeeds in their brainwashing campaign we all know that's coming, Lamont shouldn't have too much trouble in a three way race. Lieberman should just come to common sense and throw in the towel -- and stop acting like a baby. The longer he carries on this temper tantrum, the worse it'll be for Democrats in other states.
