Tom Delay still stuck on Texas 22 ballot

A panel of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans has upheld a lower court ruling, saying that Tom Delay must remain on the ballot for the November 7th election even though he now lives in Virginia, not Texas. (Source: Lone Star Project) In a move extremely rare in the United States (but common in Canada), the court also ordered Delay to pay the legal costs of the Texas Democratic Party in this case.
