Canada Day: A cute short story

It's Canada Day CXLI, or as it's known in Québec, Moving Day. In honour of the occasion, I offer this link to one of my favourite short stories from elementary school, Patrick Waddington's The Street that Got Mislaid. Is it possible such missing lanes still exist in Montréal or the other great cities and towns in this great land of ours we call Canada? I wouldn't deny the possibility.
