Free Free Dominion!
HT to Psychols: I too support free speech, period -- and oppose the attempts by some to silence the right-wing site Free Dominion, no matter how much I disagree with the viewpoints posted over there.
Libel is, of course Loraine, one of the exceptions to free speech. The issue here, as I understand it, is a complaint filed against it at the Human Rights Commission about something posted there. The worry here is that the vast majority of posters at FD who are responsible will be silenced for the reckless actions of one. That is the patent unfairness of this.

I'm all for freedom of speech for Free Dominion - but I am also for freedom to sue for libel when they cross the line. And they do cross the line.
