If someone is going to pray for Ms. Thatcher, they best pray for the fact that she was complicit in the disapperance and execution of tens of thousands of Chileans.
Did I like Thatcher during her time in power and in the years after? No. You point out one example of why. But I pray more for those I disagree with than those with whom I agree. It's just the way I am.

Here is a wonderful pic of Margaret Thatcher with her good friend and mass murderer, General Augusto Pinochet of Chile! General Pinochet received Mrs Thatcher's blessing for the tens of thousands of Chilean trade unionists who were rounded up, held in Santiago Stadium prior to their mass execution (1973-75).
Ms. Thatcher was a defender of this brutal dictator because they shared the same contempt for labour unions and those people who were in them!
