More backpeddling -- not good enough

The Conservatives continue to backwheel. They've now backed down on the right to strike and pay equity issues -- at least, for now (as with the case on party financing). But that doesn't change the fact that they never should have brought it those issues in the first place. As for announcing the budget date as January 27, much earlier than would be expected in the cycle, one has to note this is even more cynical as it's just one week after Obama's inauguration.

We can't wait two months.

When did they backpedal on pay equity?

It was mentioned about an hour ago on Rex Murphy's Cross Country Checkup . It was a surprise to me, but a flip-flop on something so essential to Con policy in a space of just four days tells me that Harper has totally lost it -- if you know what I mean.

Where is the economic plan to stimulating economic efficiency and creating jobs?

The Conservatives still have their head stuck in the sand. If the Conservatives need the other Parties to force an economic plan down their throats, just perhaps the Conservatives are NOT fit to govern.

S.A., I couldn't have said it better myself.
